My programmes aren't for you if.....

I would love to work with you all but I’ve found that there are some people who get more from my programmes than others. Of course I want everyone to get the very best from the work I do and so therefore think it’s better if I’m upfront and tell you this before we start. So, my programmes aren’t for you if…
You’re expecting a quick fix
Unfortunately there is no such thing as overnight success. I have found that when you start working with me we lay the foundations for your successful journey immediately and then together you develop techniques, skills and your ability to be self-aware. Once you finish with me, you’ll have a plethora of tools to make you more robust and knowledgeable so that you can continue your journey on your own.
You’re cynical or negative about how to achieve success
You have to be open minded and have a willingness to learn in order to reap the benefits. And this is what my clients do. They arrive ready to listen and learn about themselves and how to make the difference that they want. My clients all have a desire for changing the current status quo. In fact, I would describe it as a hunger to get somewhere bigger and better. They can see the benefits of change and are eager to see what works.
You aren’t willing to put in some work
My programmes require that you do some pre work for sessions. Not all coaches prepare exercises for their clients but I believe that in order to maximise your time with me, it is worth thinking through issues, actions, thoughts and behaviours before you come to our sessions. I’ve spent lots of time finessing the tasks that I’ve set so that they help you on your journey to feeling empowered.
You aren’t committed to success
If you sign up for my programme we’ll organise dates for all your sessions straight away. Of course there may be an occasion when later down the road something crops up but if we’ve agreed best dates for us both, please do all you can to keep these in the diary.
You don’t want to be held accountable
My clients want me to ask how they’re getting on. They want to share with me whether they’ve managed to action the tasks that they committed to when we last spoke. In fact, this is why they’ve started my programme. They want me to hold them accountable so that they can make a change and embrace the vision that they outlined when we first met.
You don’t like a challenge
There are times when there’ll be obstacles in your path. Maybe a topic of conversation is difficult, a task requires a lot of deep thinking, or a new action you’ve committed to trying just doesn’t feel right.
As Fred Devito said “If it doesn’t challenge you it doesn’t change you. Challenges are what make life interesting. Overcoming them is what makes them meaningful.”
If you’re still interested in working with me then please get in touch. Because you are probably a perfect client of mine.
Looking forward to introducing myself!
