What's it like working with me?

Where do I start? My clients tell me that I’m patient, compassionate, enthusiastic, positive supportive and challenging and yesterday I was told I had a ‘natural style’. Of course, you could read the testimonials on my website, Google or LinkedIn….

…but does that convey what you need to know?

I know that for me my coaching relationships are real. They’re proper connections which mean that I have a genuine desire to see people glow from the inside out, growing stronger and more resilient with each session and ultimately achieving the goals they want.

How do I coach?

I don’t tell people what to do. I firmly believe that you are able to achieve your goals and dreams but I know that things just get in the way. For example, your limited beliefs, your fear of failure and sometimes it’s ‘life’. I understand what it’s like juggling a busy household. My children are 11, 15 and 16 years old but it’s still chaotic, just a little different to how it was when they were toddlers!

When we say these issues fast they can seem small and inconsequential but in reality they’re massive and can mean that you don’t travel in the direction you really want to go because you worry that your nightmares might become your reality.

But I help clients overcome these feelings of self-doubt, fear of failure and insecurity. I enable them to feel empowered by listening to them, reflecting what I hear and challenging them to behave in a different manner and to look at a situation from a different perspective.

How structured are my programmes?

My programmes do have pre work on set topics and each session has a goal because I have created the best activities to build a foundation of confidence and self-worth to enable people to feel empowered. Reviewing your vision, purpose, strengths, values, boundaries and more is important. Allocating time both before we meet and during our sessions to reflect on whether this is genuinely how you’re living enables you to get to know yourself once more and if necessary, put in steps to change the status quo. It’s not an easy journey but it is so rewarding!

But I also believe in flexibility. Coaching is a 2 way partnership between 2 adults and I fully recognise that when you’re focused on something in particular, you can’t put time into something else. Therefore I regularly ask for feedback and depend on my clients being honest by telling me what works best for them. And with that I can create a session that targets what you need because my ultimate objective is to encourage and empower you to achieve your goals.

What do my clients leave with?

Empowerment, confidence, self-worth, clarity, motivation, a renewed sense of what needs to be put in place are just some of the comments from my clients.

For me, I see my clients physically walk away taller, more in control and with an increased self-awareness. When I hear that they have begun to have conversations that they never would have done before meeting me, I feel my job is done. It’s this that I find so rewarding.
